Tanisha Tate is a dedicated educator, instructional leader, and the founder and CEO of Scholarly Solutions LLC. With nearly three decades of experience in education, Tanisha has worked as a classroom teacher, instructional leader, and district-level administrator, developing strong educators who understand and apply effective teaching practices. She firmly believes that teacher actions directly influence student outcomes and has dedicated her career to improving teaching quality and curriculum, particularly in low-income, inner-city public schools.
Tanisha earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood Education from Prairie View A&M University. She later obtained a Master of Education as a Language Arts Specialist from the University of St. Thomas. She is also a proud member of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education, and previously served as President of the Texas Student Teacher Association.
As the former Director of Emergent Bilingual Programming for a high-performing charter school network in Houston, Tanisha played a pivotal role in shaping instructional strategies for multilingual learners and struggling readers. She successfully implemented district-wide initiatives, including a TELPAS strategy that increased student growth by 10%, as well as literacy and intervention programs that enhanced student fluency and comprehension across multiple campuses.
Recognizing the gap in meaningful professional development, Tanisha founded Scholarly Solutions LLC to provide practical, relevant, and results-driven coaching and training for educators and leaders. Through her consulting work, she designs tailored professional development experiences that equip educators with actionable strategies and renewed motivation, ensuring they make a lasting impact on student learning and success.
Tanisha’s deep expertise, combined with her hands-on experience, allows her to unlock the potential of both educators and school leaders, ensuring that professional development is not just another requirement but a transformative experience that drives real classroom change.
